What can I do with this degree?

The Advanced Manufacturing degree prepares one to enter the world of production and manufacturing industries in both hands-on production/manufacturing as well as be prepared for entry level supervisory and management positions. They work producing products in various industries: automotive, aerospace, agriculture equipment, marine equipment, mining equipment, or road-building equipment etc. They may work producing the smallest part, to large components and assemblies, to complete end user products. VU will provide the groundwork for your journey into the world of manufacturing, giving you skills and tools such as critical thinking, teamwork, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
